Luxury meets support in this mattress, which incorporates 2112 individually nested pocket springs (in a 150cm Kingsize). These springs, made of 1.42mm Vanadium steel, are carefully placed in hand-sewn calico pockets arranged in a honeycomb pattern. This design provides optimal support across four available tensions. With over a century of expertise in mattress crafting and as the originator of the pocket spring, Vispring guarantees exceptional quality with every mattress.

The Bedstead Superb uses only the finest natural materials. The pocket springs are cushioned by a wool spring protector pad, followed by 1000gsm of bonded British fleece wool and cotton. Additionally, it includes 1200gsm of hand-teased, long-stranded horsehair blended with British wool. These luxurious fillings are enclosed within a hair-proof cambric cover, topped with an extra 900gsm layer of British fleece wool and cotton blend. The entire assembly is hand-tufted with felt washers and finished with premium satin white Belgian ticking.

The mattress measures 23cm in depth, with an additional 6cm doming (+/- 2cm), and features four rows of meticulous hand side-stitching. It is equipped with horizontal handles for easy rotation and turning. Air vents are included to promote ventilation through the natural fillings, and the borders are meticulously upholstered with protective lambswool and piped ticking.

Designed for use on slatted bedsteads or any divan base, slats should be no more than 7cm apart for optimal performance. The Bedstead Superb is a turnable mattress, and it is recommended to rotate and turn it seasonally. Following delivery, allow the natural fibres to settle; the mattress may initially appear shorter than the base/divan but will return to its full size over time. If the mattress settles unevenly, simply turn it to ensure even distribution.]
